Light Writing in the Olafur Eliasson installation…

We found a new way to engage Olafur’s wonderful forrest installation by inviting St Margaret’s school down from Whalley Range, Manchester to embark on a light writing adventure! The children worked in teams to paint pictures using nothing more than torches and their imaginations. The results are both very dynamic and colourful with elements of symbolism linked to literacy activities that were done just prior to the session. We certainly had a great time with the group on Thursday and very much look forward to working on other projects within our exhibitions with the school.
