The Whitworth Learning Team are very happy to host a ‘Chinese New Year’ event (Thursday 3rd March) in collaboration with the universities Confucius Institute and Manchester’s Children’s Services. Workshops happening within the gallery include; Paper Cutting, Origami, Tai Chi, Chinese Music, Language and Folk Dancing with a Dragon Possession thrown in too!
Schools visiting on this day are; St Matthews HS, St James, Oswald Road, Birchfields Primary, St Kentigans, St John Fisher and St Thomas More, Cravenwood, Crab Lane Primary, Barlow Hall and Seymour Road.
