FooTea in the Park! Saturday 11th August

The Whitworth played host to the National Football Museum on Saturday with a number of football activities with a twist! Feeling inspired and all sporty, the education teams from both venues came together to merge workshop sessions and celebrate the recent warm weather. The star of the show was Dan Magness, the World Record Football Freestyle Champ who dribbled and dazzled his way around onlookers, participants and even a wedding reception party who came outside the gallery to marvel at his skills. You can follow Dan on twitter @Dan_Magness and be sure to check out his website here; http://www.danmagness.com/

Many thanks to Sarah Marsh for leading the workshop (have you ever seen painted footballs launched at a board before?), our Marketing Manager and local footballing coach Tim for being Dan’s voluntary helper and of course to our friends at the National Football Museum for their equipment, enthusiasm and above all – their eagerness to get messy with paint!

Enjoy the images, Steven
