Cheshire Schools Art’s Week – ‘Elements’

We welcomed back the Cheshire Schools networks group for more Arts Week projects using their theme for this year ‘elements’ to connect and respond to some of our Spring Season exhibitions ‘John Piper – The Mountains of Wales’, Michael Landy’s ‘Four Walls’ and Richard Long’s ‘Land Art’ to explore sense of space, music and movement and the local environment through dance sessions and a range of drawing activities.  Prestbury, Bollinbrook, Mottram St Andrews, Park Lane, Nether Alderly, Upton Priory, Broken Cross and Whirley Primary all visited thanks to the Arts Specialist College – Fallibroome Academy. As ever, we are happy to share some of the work produced during these two weeks as we welcomed back our lead contacts Mark Payne and Julie Smith, Fallibroome’s dance tutor Becky Lane to work alongside practitioners Laura Davies, Mat Cahill and Naomi Kashiwagi.
