Looking for hands-on museum work experience? We are offering two week-long placements to students in Years 10-13 interested in gaining an insight into how Manchester Museum works.

The team at Manchester Museum has developed two work experience packages that will run Monday 7th- Friday 11th July and Monday 14th- Friday 18th July.

As a work experience student you will experience the working life of the museum through a programme of organised activities and tasks. You will meet the staff and gain practical work experience both behind the scenes and out in the gallery spaces. You will get to see first-hand how the museum’s collections are looked after and displayed as well as how we welcome and work with our visitors.
